Located in the Historic Center of Lisbon, near Praça do Comércio and Alfama historic district, the cooking specialties of “Solar dos Bicos” Restaurant focus on the traditional Portuguese cuisine.
You will find a beautiful restaurant full of decorative antiques from the XVI and XVIII centuries. Typical Portuguese tiles merge the architecture style from “Marquês de Pombal” with stone arches and wood structures that where preserved during reconstruction.
We have two dinning rooms and a big terrace outside facing the “Casa dos Bicos”, well known Portuguese Landmark. On the upper floor you will find a private dinning room perfect for group events, business meetings or family reunions.
MANY EVENTS HAPPEN IN THE BAR & RESTAURANT SOLAR DOS BICOS!
We work with specific events all week! Brazilian night with a lot of pagode, feijoada and caipirinha! Turkish night to the cultural sound of Turkey and typical food, Halloween parties, among many more!

OUR HOUSE
Lisbon highlights will only be completed after visiting our restaurant. We are proud of our service and our rich and diverse menus. Our primary concern is to select only the best quality products for our cuisine.
Our specialities are: “Solar” Codfish, Mixed grilled fish with fries (2 persons), T-Bone steak barbecue with fries, Home chicken stew with rice and a vinegar flavour. For dessert we invite you to taste our home made egg pudding or our delicious sweet rice with cinnamon.
At Solar dos Bicos Restaurant you will experience a traditional and historic environment, with tasty Portuguese food, from the Minho region (North Portugal). Casual and relaxed, but private, you can enjoy a meal at any time of the day, served by our competent and friendly team.

Solar dos Bicos Restaurant has established a partnership with professional Fado players and singers, in order to provide special moments to our clients, in a wonderful combination of food and music.
